Upon returning to work after a week at Champ Camp I am facing a bit of post camp depression. The experiences of the week are too amazing and too powerful to describe to anyone who has never spent a week with “our kids.” I think about the time I spend at Wonder Valley with the volunteers and campers and feel fortunate, loved and inspired. I have been volunteering at Champ Camp and other burn foundation events for over 6 years now and find that the energy created by the location, the purpose, and the intention of camp is absolutely priceless. Sometimes people ask me how I do what I do. I have to ask, how could I not do this? For me, camp puts the rest of life in perspective. By sharing the love and joy of camp with all the campers, counselors and staff members I make my life what it is supposed to be. Thank you to all of those who support camp. Thank you counselors. Thank you staff. Thank you campers.

I am a research RN hoping to contact burn survivors with 20% or more skin grafting for a NIH research study here in Dallas, TX. There is compensation for participation and travel expenses will be paid for qualified subjects. I would like to send a flyer to be posted or emailed to your burn survivors. Please contact me at above email or call at (214)345-6502.
    Have a Happy New Year!!

    Hello,

I am a CAL-FIRE Battalion Chief and I host a bike ride every year in Santa Cruz County. I was interested in raising some money for AARBF through my bike ride. Who should I contact?

    thanks

The LA Region of AARBF will be hosting the volunteer orientation tonight in our Burbank offices. If you are interested in volunteering, it’s never too late to contact AARBF.

As you can see from the post Jake made up above, there are so many ways to support our efforts. All it takes is a phone call to our awesome staff!!
